Great location within 40 minutes of many major WNC attractions including Asheville, GSMNP, etc. The property boasts paved access and high-speed fiber optic internet.

It is a perfect place for artists and writers to find inspiration or for guests who want to connect to nature by simply waking up with the trees. The cabin partly functions as an informal artist residency space for our friends and comrades and guest who stay will find it more as a home environment instead of a hotel. Come expecting simplicity and refreshing stay in the wooded landscape of WNC.

This cabin is close to Western Carolina University ( about 4 miles), Cullowhee, Sylva and Cashiers, NC. You’ll love this home because of the views, the coziness, woodburning fireplace, firepit, convenience and unique decorations ( I call it the museum in honor of my grandparents). In addition to two bedrooms, there are bunk beds in the loft for the kids. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).

Located in a rural residential area with a scattering of farms, yet only ten minutes from shopping and restaurants in downtown Waynesville. Close to hundreds of miles of hiking, forty minutes from Asheville or the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, there is plenty to do. For those who want to do less, you can just sit in the sunroom or on the deck and watch the horses graze.

We also provide an outdoor grill, large porch, and lots of outdoor seating that will provide the best ways to enjoy nature.The cabin is relatively close to two tiny houses but still offers a sense of privacy.
