Cottage - The Getaway

<p> It is our pleasure to introduce our newest and most southern accommodation at Slope Point, This holiday house features 3 bedrooms, one bathroom with an open plan living area. Ideal for families, small groups or a couple just wanting to relax and getaway. Totality surrounded by farm land, relax and enjoy country living. Television, fireplace, free wifi (basic needs only please) and fantastic views.  Washing machine and dryer if needed. cloths rack and outdoors line provided.   In Addition, we have a caravan point availalbe at the cottage for groupls.  please email direct for this option</p> <p> The cottage is located at 207 Slope Point Road.  Our recepton is at 164 Slope Point Road and main accommodation site. </p> <p> Currently we are experiancing technical difficulties which should be resolved in the near future. Amazing 4 relaxing, bird, weather, stars & Southern Lights. Ferry Terminal is a 5min drive. Warm, peaceful child & pet free environment.

Gypsy Wagon, Curio Bay, Catlins.

Fully self contained gypsy wagon located close to beach of Porpoise Bay. No ocean views but beach is 2min walk. Super king size plush $3000 mattress. Very tidy inside. Cooking facilities with microwave & fridge. Log burner with wood supplied. BBQ area. Linen/towels included. This accommodation is located on our property beside our house. The toilet/shower room (converted water tank) is located 9 meters away from the gypsy, a short walk across the grass lawn. Our gypsy wagon can sleep 2 adults

Waikawa House

Waikawa house is a lovely modern house with a big section, ideal for couples or families. Set on a quite and private section, enjoy the peaceful rural surrondings and beautiful native bird song. Waikawa House is in the middle of the southern Catlins "hot spots", less than 5 minutes walk from the estuary and less than 10 minutes drive to Curio Bay. Swim with the dolphins, watch the penguins come in to their nests in the evening and walk along a beautiful beach, enjoy many more local attractions.

Whare manu, boutique cottage.

Whare manu is a private, self contained boutique cottage that is solar powered. Set back into native bush with views of the sea and beach, which is only a minutes stroll away. Watch the Tui's and Bellbirds feed on the sculpted bird feeder right on the deck. Designed for couples to relax, unwind and enjoy. No children please. If you would like your stay to include the 24 Dec please contact us, we can open for you, there are no checkouts on 25 Dec & a min 2 night stay. This is a unique place.

Get away from the hustle and bustle at the tranquil Tram Track Retreat nestled in the heart of the Catlins, one of the most scenic areas of New Zealand. Stroll in native bush along the old tram-tracks or along the beaches around Papatowai. Or find the old tram tracks in the native bush behind the cabin which lead towards the town. Complete with views of the native forest and farm animals; you'll be able to relax and unwind with a glass of wine or a good book in the private court yard.

Our Self-Contained Apartment is fitted with modern furnishings, free WiFi and views across the ocean to the Nugget Point Lighthouse from the sliding doors. There is a private deck with a table and seating. The living area has a sofa, dining table and chairs and a flat-screen Smart TV. It has a kitchenette with a stovetop, microwave, electric fry pan, fridge, jug, toaster and all the essentials. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. It has a private entrance and off-street parking.
