Here in the country garden stream side setting of the former Herb Farm (New Zealand's first opened in 1976) you will find the original cottage with the ground floor studio/bed sitting room and adjoining parlour. This is a great place to relax and admire the views into Purau Bay and out to Lyttelton Heads. The cottage is hidden in the bush and very private (not a roof in sight) with spectacular views. Tranquility and peace are keywords here. Wake up to the song of the bell bird and the sun streaming in. It's a 5 minute walk to a cafe and restaurant and a 10 minute walk to the ferry to Lyttelton from which you can access ChCh by bus.
