John Adams and a veteran who served in the Allied occupation of Japan following WWII. Going further back, this was one of the first areas to be settled. It was part of the "Sims Settlement" and was defended during the War of 1812 by James and William Slaughter. Settlers farmed the fertile land near Indian Creek, now called the Indian Creek Greenway - 4 mins away.

You can sit on the side deck, watch the horses eat, and listen to the frogs at night. A short walk across the field and you can be fishing in Plato Branch. Cozy cabin with two queen beds. Coyote’s Cabin Treehouse is 224 sq ft that sits up high on a bluff with Scarham creek below. Hot tub sits overlooking the creek. There’s no TV or WIFI. We only offer the noise of nature. Please note: this is a smoke free ( including marijuana) , pet free and no children allowed. Please respect our home. If you must smoke, please do so outside and away from the door and bring a butt can with you. I always offer discount stays on my excellent guest at any of my stays
