Irini's house

Irini΄s house is a Cretan traditional stone house, built back in the 19 century. The house is nestled in a quiet village hidden in the mountains, called Alones. The original character and the Cretan traditional architecture have been preserved and taken under serious consideration during renovation. The village is a great base to explore a lot of outstanding places and beaches such as Plakias (25 minutes away by car), Damnoni, Moni Preveli, Rodakino, Frangokastello, Hora Sfakion and Rethimno. If you want to immerse yourself in Cretan life in a peaceful location, the house is a perfect choice. It is ideal for those who want to relax from the city bustle and enjoy the nature. At the bottom of the ravine is a very old stone fountain with trees.
