Close to Glencolmcille beach and the folk village. The Slieve League cliffs and the silver strand beach are a 15 minute drive away. We have an EV charger.

Dora’s cottage is located in Malinmore, Glencolumbkille on the spectacular Slieve League Peninsula. The village is surrounded by mountains, lakes, rocky sea cliffs, wildlife and sandy beaches. Dora’s cottage is a short distance from Malinmore pier and has beautiful coastal walks. The cottage has been lovingly restored and in keeping with the charm of an old cottage style. All the modern day comforts of WiFi, Netflix, oil central heating and modern bathroom make for a comfortable stay.

Nestled in the serene countryside of County Donegal, our cozy retreat offers a unique blend of history, nature and comfort. Inch Island is known for its stunning, peaceful nature and renowned bird watching. Our property dates back to the 1600s when it operated as a farm. Our basement library is a book lover’s dream, featuring an extensive collection of books both old and new. Dooey Hill Cottage is nestled on the hillside by Dooey beach with Atlantic views, overlooking beautiful Traigheana bay (Bay of the Birds) and the mountains of Donegal. It is on 6 acres including shoreline, secluded yet only 5 minutes drive to local shops and pubs with traditional music and food, and a further 10 minutes to the town of Dungloe with several supermarkets, a bank and numerous traditional pubs and restaurants.

Shower room downstairs in our antique shop which is opened 1-5 during the summer months.
