A stunning set of 18th century chateau doors divide the living and bedrooms and provide the 'wow factor' of this charming find. The living room with its linen covered antique chesterfield sofa, large format art books, 42" Smart HD TV with Freeview, DVD player, Bose Bluetooth sound system is perfect for a cosy night in. Wet-room style bathroom with walk-in shower, heated towel rail, underfloor heating and plenty of white fluffy towels (shower gel and shampoo etc.) The kitchen - reclaimed slate work-tops, Victorian tiled floor. The apartment is within our family house but completely private with its own entrance. Your hosts are on hand, though, for advice on local attractions, restaurants and places to visit for day trips. 'Atelier 22 York' is situated in York's 'Cultural Quarter', a few minutes walk from the Yorkshire Museum, the Theatre Royal, York Art Gallery and the Minster. The city's top eateries are a stone's throw away : Roots, The Star Inn The City, Betty's, Skosh, Partisan, Le Cochon Aveugle, as well as numerous pubs and bars; a gentle stroll back home at night. The beautifully restored medieval buildings of Stonegate and the Shambles provide the perfect setting for some last minute shopping. York's many attractions, including The Minster, Yorkshire Museum and Gardens, Treasures House, Fairfax House, Castle Museum, National Railway Museum, City Walls, Theatre Royal, City Screen Cinema, Betty's famous Tea Rooms are all 5-10 minutes walk away as well as beautiful riverside walks and restaurants, pubs and bars too numerous to mention. The Willows - Garden Guest Cottage

This beautiful recently completed guest cottage is set within the secure grounds of the main house in a rural setting near the villages of Willerby, located just off the main route between the Humber Bridge and the historic town of Beverley and only 15 mins from the City of Kingston Upon Hull. Ideally placed for country walks or for exploring these historic centres. We are only 2 mins away from all amenities i.e. Restaurants, Pubs, cafes, supermarkets or for hospitals visits and business trips.

One bedroom annex over three floors +garden.

Annex has one bedroom, downstairs is the dine-in fully equipped kitchen and downstairs toilet, first floor has the lounge and third floor has the bedroom and bathroom with bath & shower. The annex is in Selby close to A1 and M62. Thirteeen miles from York. Good train links from London, York and across the Pennines. Good bus to York and Designer Outlet park and ride. We only accept bookings from people who are staying and have been verified by Airbnb, not from people on behalf of someone else.

The Hut in the Wild

Come and stay in our beautifully finished, tin shepherds hut at the bottom of our garden. We are located in the rolling countryside with extensive views over the vale of York. After a day of exploring this AONB, there’s nothing like cooking tea over the fire pit or wood pellet pizza oven followed by a dip under the stars in our rustic hot tub. Fall into a fresh clean bed and wake up to the sound of the dawn chorus. Our bathroom barn provides all your needs for a morning freshen up!See you soon.

Grooms Cottage by Sheriff Hutton Castle, Near York

Grooms Cottage is on a private estate right next to the ruins of Sheriff Hutton Castle. The property is in a peaceful setting but only two minutes walk away from the village pub and post office/general store. Our cottage was completely renovated in 2021 and is in a great location for walkers, cyclists, and explorers. It’s about 10 miles from both York and Malton, Castle Howard is under 6 miles away, and the coast can be reached in under an hour. Grooms Cottage sleeps 4 guests+2 babies +dogs

A stunning self-contained flat in the historic village of Riccall, with free off-street parking and its own stylish kitchen and bathroom. Just 8 miles from the beautiful city of York, Riccall contains everything you might want for your break: restaurant, pubs, takeaway, Post Office and shop but is also a perfect base for very easy access to York; buses leave from the end of the road every 15 minutes, driving is very quick and easy + Riccall is even on a gorgeous cycle/walking track to York.

Lovely Victorian end terrace cottage in the pretty village of Laxton near Howden. We have Two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one single bedroom. The cottage is ideal for couples, business travellers, families with one child and dogs. The village has a great pub with delicious home cooked food and a cosy open fire. Only 3 miles away is the historic Market town of Howden with it's great range of shops, cafes and bars. Laxton is an ideal base for exploring East or North Yorkshire.

Hygge House is a cosy, Victorian, mid-terrace townhouse retaining many original features. It is just a short-walk (15-20 minutes) from York Minster via either a footpath along the banks of the picturesque River Ouse, or by a short walk down historical Bootham and through Bootham Bar, one of the ancient gateways through York’s city walls. The property is easily accessible from York Rail Station (10-15 minute walk or bus ride), or by car, and benefits from free on street parking.

Stunning rural shepherds hut

Located in the stunning Howardian Hills, this is a peaceful and romantic location. A perfect all year round escape. You park your car and the hut is a 5 minute walk from our house- make sure you pack suitable footwear. We can transport your luggage to the hut. The hut has cooking facilities (oven and a hob), there is also a fire pit for barbecues and a picnic table for outdoor dining. You have exclusive use of a hot tub which is right next to the hut.

Situated on a quiet street near the river, just outside the historic city walls and York Minster .Our house is in the perfect location to explore all the cultural and historic attractions the City of York has to offer. It's only a 5-minute walk to one of the main streets in York and to the walls which encircle the city. We welcome dogs but there is an additional charge of £25.
