Ideal rural retreat for anyone and everyone! This cosy wooden cabin is a simply lovely place to stop and unwind. Set near to a small Sussex village with direct access onto the South Downs, Iford is on the wild fringes of historic Lewes (2 miles), vibrant Brighton (7 miles) and Newhaven ferry and beach (6 miles). Heartsease is one of two extra-large (6m x 2.4m) Shepherds huts at the bottom of the owner's beautiful rural garden, overlooking miles of rolling countryside. There's a super-comfortable kingsize bed, a kitchenette, a seating/dining area and a luxury shower room. It feels like you're in the fields but there's no long walk with luggage and all mod cons eg excellent wifi. Private garden with patio, bistro set and private electric (ever ready) hot tub. Access to shared garden with BBQs and firepit.

The Foxy Shepherd - an idyllic country retreat

The hut is in a secluded fenced off part of our garden in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty with uninterrupted views over paddocks towards Benenden and provides the perfect retreat for couples looking for a place for complete relaxation and escape from daily life. It is completely self contained with an ensuite shower room, kitchen area, wood burning stove and cosy double bed. Outside is a fire pit with BBQ where you can enjoy the long summer evenings with a glass of wine and BBQ

1920s Showmans living wagon,experience times past.

Set in the sussex countryside our beautiful showman's wagon is now resting. She has spent many years looking after showman travelling around the countryside housing show folk and fair ground people. Her history and that of the travelling community is a magical fascinating part of history. It is a privilege for us to own and gives us pleasure to be able to share with anyone who would like to stay. The garden and surrounding countryside are part of the charm of our wagon in summer and winter.

Orchard Hut is a secluded and very private shepherd's hut fitted to a high standard, and situated in a gloriously peaceful meadow setting away from any road noise. The meadow is rich in wildlife and there are views to the South Downs that can be enjoyed from the hammock or the wood fired hot tub.The hut sits just outside the South Downs National Park, 3 miles from Lewes and 5 miles to Glyndebourne. There is direct access to a myriad of public footpaths with a good choice of stunning walks.

Set in the tranquil foothills of the South Downs, Skylark shepherds hut offers you a luxury off grid escape. Located on a beautiful organic arable farm surrounded by nature with stunning views makes for a peaceful, relaxing break. Skylark is ideal for visiting one of the many attractions near by (including Charleston House, Rathfinny Wine Estate, Firle Place and the medieval village of Alfriston), a stopover on the South Downs Way, a weekend of walking or just some time out to relax.

Woodland Shepherds Hut situated at Coes Farm an Organic Vineyard and Orchard making Natural wines and cider, 50 acres of absolute tranquillity in amongst nature, with a bit of luxury thrown in too! We have formal gardens and ornamental ponds, a large lake, plenty of woodland, open fields, an indoor saltwater swimming pool with hot tub, a tennis court and a games room. We planted our 5 acre organic vineyard in Spring 2021 and extended the existing Orchard with cider varieties in 2023.

We have beaches within 10 minutes drive, local pubs and near by historic sites such as Herstmonceux Castle and Observatory Science Centre, Battle Abbey, Pevensey Castle and many more.

Gordon's View Shepherd's Hut

Nestled in the High Weald AONB, between the two historic towns of Tenterden and Rye is our shepherd's hut "Gordon's View". Located on a quiet working farm our hut has beautiful uninterrupted countryside views and is situated in it's own field with peaceful surroundings that make it feel very private. The large patio doors opening onto the outside seating area, the wood burner and the underfloor heating all make for a comfortable stay at any time of the year!
