A rustic and homely house on a remote sheep farm

Our farm is the easternmost habitat place on Iceland and extremely remote. We are surrounded by mountains and the ocean, and there are many hiking options. We have a lighthouse here along with a small weather station. Our little farm gets closed off from the world during the winter months, so it's the perfect opportunity for those that seek a break from just about everything. You probably couldn't imagine a more peaceful and quiet place, where you are also welcomed to join us in any activities.

Ásinn-Brennistaðir 4 is 90m2 house for a group of up to 7 people +crib (year 2025). The house is located in untoucted nature next to a field on Brennistaðir farm, about 20 km from Egilsstaðir in the direction to Borgarfjörður eystri. The farm is sheep farm. We live about 400 m distance from Ásinn. Fully equipped kitchen, small sitting room, spacious bathroom (washing machine and dryer), 4 bedrooms. Good looking view, cairns, bird live, streams, family-friendly environment in peaceful nature.

Entrance is from a big terrace that can be enjoyed during the stay Apartment offers a well equipped kitchen & a cosy living room. Downstairs is a big bedroom for 2-4 people. A double bed & two single beds. Bathroom with shower and washing/Dryer machine is available. Spectacular mountain and fjord view. Ideal for couples, families or group of friends.

Spacious and peaceful countryside home on our family-run farm, just 25 minutes from Egilsstaðir. Perfect for families or groups up to 6 looking for privacy and a relaxing stay in East Iceland. Surrounded by birds and open landscapes, with views over pond and the beautiful Dyrfjöll mountains. A great base for exploring East Iceland, including Borgarfjörður Eystri with hiking trails and puffins in summer. In winter, you may see the Northern Lights right outside. Peaceful getaway in nature.

Fjörður 1

The house, „Fjörður" was build in 1906 and has been in the same familiy since then. Fjörður, which is appr. 140 m2, is on 2 floors and comes with a big garden. The main floor consists of 2 livingrooms (one of them has a 120 cm bed), fully equipped kitchen with a dinner table, 1 bathroom with a shower, and a loundry room. The upper floor consists of 4 bedrooms, each with 2 beds, there is also 2 extra mattresses. Please note the house is very old. The stair is very steep.

A comfortable, newly renovated, spacious and clean ground floor apartment in a 2 storey home in a quiet area by a beautiful fjord with majestic mountains and beautiful nature. It is well located and all service is in walking distance. Reyðarfjörður is East Cost central. The whole apartment on the ground floor is at your disposal and is defined as follows: two bedrooms with four single beds in total, well equipped kitchen, living room, bathroom and laundry room.

Beautiful, warm and cosy cottage for 2 people. It's located in the countryside 18 km from the town Egilsstaðir on road 931. It's on the south side of the lake on the way to Hallormsstaður the biggest forest in Iceland. The next grocery store is in Egilsstaðir. Good paved road, passable all the year. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful landscape, nice hiking trails down to the lake or up to the hills, good place to see the northern lights in wintertime.
