Our property on Little Gillett Lake is a special place. The cottage is new, but exudes the charm and character of classic Northwoods Americana. The clear, beautiful lake allows access to Big Gillett Lake and a tributary of the Oconto River by paddle. The Nicolet National Forest offers trails while nearby larger lakes provide beaches and access for motor boats. Swim, paddle, fish, snowshoe, ATV, snowmobile, hike, eat, chill... come enjoy some worry free relaxation or step away for an adventure!

Nestled in the Nicolet National Forest in a quiet neighborhood our cabin is 300 feet off the Wolf River, and 500 feet from the UTV and snowmobiling trail. It is a stone's throw from countless activities for families to enjoy in every season, including state and national beaches with boat access, fishing, rafting, and paddling, biking, hunting, hiking and cross-country skiing. Please note: our neighbors live right next door. This cabin IS NOT suitable for parties, and does not allow parties.

My place is quiet, serene and private, and secluded. Hear the rooster crow or collect your own eggs for your breakfast. Head down to the private pond to try your luck at fishing (no license required) or paddle boarding. If you need to warm up, use the sauna or the outdoor hot tub year round. It has a full, eat-in “kitchenette” including a dishwasher, a clothes washer/dryer in the unit, good size bathroom and private bedroom w/ a FULL size bed. This apartment is located in a historic building near downtown area and it has a private entrance with its own patio. It has a huge front yard with fire pit, a picnic table and free parking areas.

The cabin is also situated right on the ATV trail. The main offers a King sized bed and the guest room offers a Queen/Twin Loft bed. There is also sectional couch as a sleeping option!

Our Cottage atop of Big Gillette Lake(a quaint no gas motor lake) offers a unique Northwoods experience. Nestled on a dead end road in the middle of the 1.5 million acre Nicolet National Forest, enjoy panoramic views of the lake. Soak in the relaxing hot tub King/Queens chair with a birds eye view of the lake! Winter season is upon us! Watch the snow fall from the hot tub! Then enjoy the fireplace inside. We are on a ATV/Snowmobile route. 1 mile away from being on the trail!!

(Must walk up a handful of outdoor stairs) Unique, peaceful, and affordable - Daniel’s Place is 3 blocks from the Riverlife walking path, leading directly to downtown, and 3 miles away from Granite Peak Ski Resort. Daniel’s Place is the perfect spot for weekend ski trips, city biking, trying local restaurants, farmers markets, kayaking, and exploring the city of Wausau. Come make yourself at home 🙂

Pine Tree Lodge

Genuine log cabin with all the comforts needed for a relaxing getaway to nature. Privacy, room to roam. Huge firepit area with abundant seating. Good fishing. Spectacular fall foliage. Winter-direct access to snowmobile trails or stay cozy indoors in front of the fireplace. There are a few taxidermy species mounted on walls. Board games. Three TVs. Dish Network and Internet. Not a good swimming lake but other lakes for swimming and boating within 5-10 minutes away.
