The Chalet is a private, pet-friendly retreat on 3 peaceful acres, ideally located between Nanaimo and Parksville. Just minutes from some of the Vancouver Island's most beautiful beaches, trails, and attractions, it’s the perfect base for your island adventure. Families will love the spacious outdoor area with room to play and explore, while adults can relax on the cozy private patio, roast marshmallows by the fire, and enjoy peaceful evenings under the stars. Rustic creekfront A-Frame cabin w/loft & deck

Nestled on the edge of the creek on our 10-acre farm is our quaint little 275sqft A-frame cabin. Watch the moon travel across the window from the queen size pillow top bed in the loft. On the main floor there is a pull-out couch for an added guest, a table for meals/games, a tiny kitchen with cold water only & a composting toilet. Outside is a lovely little patio and firebowl right on the creek bank. Watch the birds, deer and fish. We have cows, geese, bees and chickens you are welcome to meet.

Clean & cozy studio suite with A/C

This calming and relaxing space features an electric fireplace, A/C, queen bed and loveseat. It is a small open concept studio suite with 1 bathroom and small kitchenette (no cooktop). The space is decorated with modern and boho touches. Whether you are staying for a romantic getaway, stopping-over on your way to explore the rest of the Island, or traveling for business, you will find all the comforts you need for a short stay. Located outside of Parksville, about 10 minutes from town.

The farm in the woods

New stand alone, 1 level bright 2 bedroom nestled in the woods on 5 acres with radiant floor heating on a working farm. Located in the centre of the island we are not far from many local activities. Englishman River Park and the famous Hammerfest trails for bike and hikes. Fast Times amusements is just 10 min away with fun for the whole family. Parksville beach is a short 20 min comute. Cathedral Grove is 30 mins away for a beautiful stroll through the massive standing B.C. trees.

Quiet & comfortable, it has vaulted ceilings with enclosed spa-like bathroom in the centre. Sleep like a starfish on a KING Bed! Cook in the light kitchen or BBQ. Relax by the fire pit on a private deck. Fantastic views of ocean, mountains, and lush green fields! Amazing stargazing here. Abundant wildlife - elk, eagles, bird watching. It's Paradise!

Welcome to a few days of relaxing. You're at the beach in 5 minutes or just step out the door to the forest. Sleep in, order a pizza and play a board game by the cozy woodstove. Put on your best duds for a dinner date down by the ocean. Maybe a fire in the backyard with a cup of cocoa? Full bathroom and everything you need for a tea or coffee and light breakfast. Mini fridge and microwave. Please note there is no kitchen and we live on the property with our blue heeler.

Discover the ultimate black bear retreat at BearBNB on Port Alberni’s Somass River. This cozy 2-bedroom suite features a full kitchen and spacious living area, but the true draw is just outside. Overlooking a primary wildlife corridor, guests enjoy front-row seats to black bears foraging along the river, eagles soaring above and even sea lions in the fall. The geodome lodging includes a queen size bed, and 3 piece bathroom. There's a microwave, mini fridge, sink, and outside is a BBQ. There's a deck to lounge in the sun, a gazebo sun shelter, and a fire pit. In the evening, frogs serenade you from the nearby pond.
