Mit fogunk csinálni?

In this tour, you will travel 1200 years back in History and  walk through the narrow and twisting alleyways that even locals don't know about.
Your programme will start at the iconic Blue Gate.
Walking from there, you will first stop by a dry fruits market. You will try some free dry fruits offered by my friends (don't miss the avocado and peach ones!). You will also learn about the traditional use of these delicacies.
Secondly, you will stop by the famous 14th century  Bounaniya Medersat  and its wonderful Water Clock and learn about its historical importance.
Thirdly,  you will go right inside  a 14th century  traditional Hammam. You will explore its different sections and learn about their functions. You will also learn about its role in arranging marriages.
After that, you will visit a huge ex-family house, now a feminine rug cooperative. You will watch the ladies hand-making delicate rugs. You will learn about the various types and designs of rugs while sipping a fresh mint tea. You will also participate in the making of a rug.
Then, you will go right inside a traditional weavers workshop where you will learn how to make scarves and bed covers from cactus silk.
Later on, you will visit the leather tannery where you will go through all the stages of making leather products.
Finally, you will visit the Argan oil cooperative and make some fresh Argan oil yourself.
Other things to note
Bab Boujloud gate is also called the Blue Gate. This is the main entrance to the old city of Fes. Ask your hotel/Riad to give you directions if in doubt. If you require any further information send a text message. I'm on WhatsApp as well. When you arrive, ask me about your name to make sure it's me

My name is Abdou. I was born and raised in Fes, Morocco. I'm an authorised Fes tour guide. I have been helping tourists discover the hidden secrets of my city for more than a decade. I also hold an M.A. degree in English, which helps me pass the information to my guests with great fluency and ease. I'm very passionate about sharing Fes secrets and hidden places with my guests.  I not only have a broad knowledge of Fes history, traditions and culture, but I have also designed a tour whereby my guests will be involved in sharing these values with locals; which they wouldn't be able to do on their own.
I also take tourists through the  back and narrow twisting alleyways which are not listed in GPSs and Maps but which help them travel through various periods of time.
Explore Fes with a historian and a linguist. Explore Fes with an INSIDER
