Get creative in this fun ceramics experience! I'll welcome you into my studio and I'll teach you how to make a functional ceramic piece from scratch. You'll end up with a one of a kind item made by you!
It doesn't matter if you're a beginner or an experienced maker, I'll guide you through your personal project. The perfect coffee mug? YES! A colorful planter? YES! A cute small bowl? YES! I will provide everything you need (Clay, tools and beautiful underglazes for decorating).
Your finished piece will be ready for pick up at my studio in 3 weeks. For travelers that are visiting Portland, I'll send your piece to you! (Domestic shipping within the United States is included. International shipping is possible for an additional fee.)
I can gladly facilitate the experience in English or Spanish.
If there's a date you would like to attend but don't see it on the calendar, send me a message! If you have a big group and want to take this experience together, send me a message! I might be able to accommodate you :)

This is a hands on activity. Please wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting clay on. Bring your best attitude and be ready to have fun!! Can't wait to meet you.

Hola! I'm Vania! I love bright colors and patterns! I was born and raised in Mexico, but living in Australia and traveling the world woke up the artist inside of me. My work is infused with my feelings and current inspiration, reflecting my unique colorful style. Making art makes me glad I'm alive! It's my purpose, my joy and I want to share it with you!

My wife and I had an amazing time making ceramics with Vania. She explained the technique clearly and visually, answering all of our questions along the way. We had complicated ideas in mind but she guided us to making our masterpieces! This is a unique experience and Vania was a fantastic teacher.
