Mit fogunk csinálni?

After meet and greet at the Centre Island, we will go over the tour safety rules. Your guide will do some of the paddling technique demonstration on land and guests are free to ask any questions. Before getting into the canoe, we would put on our life jackets. Your guide will be assisting with getting in the canoe. Once everyone is in the position and comfortable, the canoe is pushed off, your guide is at the rear seat and we all start paddling. As we canoe around the islands, your guide will be telling about the islands and its history, as well as the history of the unique historical Voyageur Canoe replica that we are using on our tours. Our first destination is the Bird Sanctuary which is located behind the Donut Island. Once we get there, we stop paddling, and seat for a few minutes quietly, listening to the sounds of nature. The next point of interest is the Toronto Harbour and the stunning views of the city skyline. It's time to get out your cameras and take those million dollar pictures and selfies. As we proceed paddling through the islands lagoons and around some small islands, we can indulge into watching the gorgeous sunset skies. Our program ends after the sunset, as we arrive back to the Centre Island. Your guide will assist you to disembark from the canoe. After getting off the canoe, it will be time to say good bye. We hope to see you again.
Other things to note
No previous experience is required. There is a guide in the canoe with you at all times. There are public washrooms and restaurants in the park. You will need to take the ferry to the islands.

During this program you will visit the Bird Sanctuary located in the wildlife are of the Toronto Islands. Paddle to the lookout point for the best view of the Toronto City skyline. Canoeing around some of the islands of the 15-islands archipelago.

Our guide was Peter, he was a friendly expert and shared so much knowledge about the islands. I loved this activity! I would definitely suggest others to give this experience a try.

Great activity to do with your friends if you’re feeling adventurous. Also highly recommend the sunset canoe you can see the pretty view of the night lights of the city including the CN tower.

Peter is very knowledgeable as a canoe instructor. He also has a true passion for Toronto , more precisely Toronto island. He is well organized , he explains the terms and the rules properly. I would definitely recommend taking canoe tour with Alexander. His team is amazing and will accommodate any request you might have. We canoed through beautiful places on the island and it was so much fun, yet so peaceful from the scenery around. Alexander and his team are Very professional, friendly and fun. Definitely worth the value and I’d say even exceeded my expectations.

Fantastic experience. Peter was very friendly and welcoming to us, and his knowledge and experience made us feel safe and in control at all times. Watching the sun set while canoeing was beautiful, and canoeing at night was a wonderful experience in and of itself. Highly recommended!
