1. meet greet introduction.
2. sign release , give u lycra shirt if u need one and wax board.
3. (15-20min) IN d SAND
introduction to surfing, get to know ur wave riding vehicle(ur board) practice how to PADDLE , GET UP ON BOARD, STANCE, techniques to know how to go past the waves( impact zone)
talk about SAFETY and SURF ETIQUETTE.

4. IN D WATER( 45min-1hr) or depending how u feel /like it.
ok lets paddle first, get to learn how to paddle correctly, sit on board and turn it, practice turtle roll too, ride the whitewater wave lying down on ur board don't get up yet get to feel how the board turns left and right when u put weight on one side or d other. now u r ready TO RIDE D WAVES......WIHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Other things to note
You can bring your camera but we can take photos for you too. Can bring rashguard or lycra surf shirt and arrange transportation but we can provide if ordered.

Iam a true local to this beach the best for learning in D ISLAND.me and my brothers grew up here in Pine GRove Condo. surfing and having fun . iam ISA CERTIFIED SURF INSTRUCTOR lifeguard/ cpr certified, and have 30 plus years experience in the water.We are blessed to have a permit to operate (PINE GROVE SURF CLUB)here in ISLA VERDE NATURE RESERVE .were we also offer snorkeling and paddleboarding tours.we r right next to PInONES. Puerto Rico. one of the most beautiful places in the Island.

I had a great time! Hector was a very laidback and helpful teacher. He really helped me to feel more confident surfing and I hope to come back and take another lesson from him someday!

I had a great time learning to surf with Hector. He was super patient and has a steady, expert eye for waves and correcting beginners' form as they get up on the board for the first time. I highly recommend any first timer to Hector and the Pine Grove Surf Club!

Hector was a fantastic instructor and spent a lot of time making sure I was comfortable before letting me try to catch a wave on my own. It was definitely an experience I will never forget.

Great people. They work hard with you. They will drill certain maneuvers into your head because they are critical for good form. They watch every little thing you do to make sure that you have great form. They are patient and overall very fun to work with. You won't regret a thing. Well, unless it rains. Then you might regret the time that you took the lesson.

Gabriel was awesome ! Anyone who has ever even thought about trying surfing needs to do this ! I had a blast thanks guys ! See you again real soon!

The coach is extremely chill and patient. I learnt to surf pretty fast through his guide. Must try if you are new to the beach and would like to try out some water sports.
