Mit fogunk csinálni?
Forget everything you think you know about Edinburgh, because we’re about to change it. Are you ready to hear about Edinburgh’s real movers and shakers? The rebels and activists that shaped the city’s history? Then join us for a tour of Scotland’s capital that will show you what it really means to be fierce.
On this two hour tour, we’ll be visiting some of the must-see sights in Edinburgh as well as some lesser-known local gems. But don’t think you’ll be getting the same old stories. We’re ripping up our history books to share with you the REAL history of Edinburgh. The tales of courage, rebellion, and outright defiance which have been at best forgotten, and at worst purposefully struck from the memory of our wonderful city. Stories of Edinburgh’s women.
Hear about mould-breaking authors who rebelled against literary norms during the Scottish Renaissance; courageous suffragettes whose fight for equality irrevocably changed Edinburgh for generations of women to come; the Edinburgh Seven, who refused to be pushed out of the medical profession; politicians that have defended the rights of women and other marginalised groups for almost a century; and one controversial queen with undeniable strength and character. Join us to stamp through the shards of Edinburgh’s glass ceiling and leave empowered by activists who fought for the world we live in today.

The tour was super interesting. Emma was great, very friendly and knowledgeable. We never would have known anything about many of the women of Scotland had we not gone. The woman we had heard about, Mary Queen of Scots, we learned interesting side stories and more detail of her life than readily known. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Great and interesting tour. I've done some general tours of Edinburgh in the past, but this one isn't like that at all. So if you're looking for something different and are interested in the (his)stories of some amazing Scottish women (girl power!) , then give this tour a go. What makes it even better is that the proceeds go to a charity that helps children in Africa. Win-win!
