Hispalis fut une des plus importantes villes de l’Hispanie ultérieure. On retrouve de nos jours à Séville beaucoup de vestiges de cette colonie romaine, notamment de magnifiques mosaïques.

Nous découvrirons les outils et materiaux utilisés et nous initierons à technique de fabrication.

Chaque participant réalisera une mosaïque de style romain.

It was a wonderful learning adventure! After seeing Italica, I was intrigued by this class offering. It was great! I’d even do it again. Great way to understand the beautiful Roman mosaics in and around Spain. The tools and materials were perfect for our projects. Sandrine made us feel like mosaicists! Take the class for something different and learn a unique skill.

We’ve done a few artistic AirBnB experiences and the afternoon learning to mosaic with Sandrine was great fun. Sandrine made us feel really welcome and over 4 hours we made some beautiful mosaic momentos of our time in Seville.

Sandrine - she’s professional, creative, and she’s definitely has the passion in Arts and mosaic. She’s flexible and very good communicator, without her rearranging the class availability, I would have missed the chance to experience the beauty of mosaic. Anyone who love arts, I do highly recommend her class.

I had a great time with this workshop with Sandrine. She demonstrates and teaches how Roman type mosaics are laid. It was very interesting. There are quite a few things to consider when forming the patterns. I came away with a souvenir of the workshop of which I am very proud. Sandrine is extremely patient. She helped me along by cutting and recommending stone sizes. She is very knowledgable about her craft. She recommended that we visit Italica near Seville, which we did. This workshop gave me a huge appreciation into the work and skill it would have taken to make the beautiful mosaics at that site. I highly recommend this workshop. It was very enjoyable.
