After the welcome in the frescoed sitting room, we will explain something interesting about the house, the building "Palazzo Borghesi" and our family's history.
We will offer you the Tuscan appetizer and you will taste of the youngest wine “Arpaia".
The second wine you will taste is the "Rosso di Montalcino", which has a short aging.
The third wine, is one of the best red wine in the world, the "Brunello di Montalcino", with an aging of at least 5 years.
Every wine is produce by our family's winery "Le Chiuse" of Montalcino managed by a member of the Biondi Santi family.
We will let you appreciate the differences between the 3 wines, tasting typical tuscan food as pecorino, salami, ham, sausage and bread with a special pate.
In case of good weather, it's possible to enjoy the wine tasting even on the panoramic terrace!

Other things to note
If you reach Siena by car, "Il Campo" and "Il Duomo" are the nearest public garage (€2/hour). Otherwise you can park at the Train Station public garage (€2/24H) and walk 15/20 minutes through the old medieval town. Just follow the "Duomo" direction. The free parking is “I Tufi”, connected by bus.

We are Paolo & Cristina, and we are the owners of the "Residenza d'Epoca Palazzo Borghesi", an elegant residence in one of the oldest buildings in Siena (1350s).
We offer you a special experience in a unique place: a "vertical” wine tasting of 3 red wines produced by the "Le Chiuse" winery of Montalcino, our family's winery (from “Biondi-Santi” family).

Residenza d'Epoca Palazzo Borghesi is a special B&B with 4 luxury rooms in the heart of Siena. In the sitting room there is an original 1800s floor under 5-meters vaulted ceilings with frescoes (1800s).
The panoramic terrace upstairs is available for all the guests. The view on the rooftops and the hills make our guests say "WOW".

Wonderful experience, Noemi proved herself to be very amicable and nice, and the experience itself was both tasty and nice. The view from the rooftop was amazing,
And so was the cellar - amazing places where I couldn’t have been without Airbnb experience.
The bed and breakfast has an amazing history and is truly majestic, I recommend it greatly.
