1930's Stone Cottage with spectacular views

Enjoy a piece of history, this stone house was built in the 1930's. One of three that were part of Rimrock Ranch Bar Lazy-R, a "dude ranch" where VIPs and movie stars would stay as they were filming westerns in the Sedona area or relaxing. In the 60’s it was Mobster getaway hiding spot. The stone house sits elevated on a hillside with overlooking panoramic views of forestry land, local homes & farms, with scenic pinions. This cute cottage is walking distance to downtown, the hospital & a small shopping center. The living room/dining area is light and airy with a TV & wi/fi . A covered patio with a gas grill, & eating area is reached through a sliding glass door from the living room. The bedroom with a queen bed & luxurious bedding, is sure to give you a great night's sleep. Perfect for couples or a small family. There is a loft for children complete with a futon. Hiker's Heaven is a place to reset and rejuvenate close to nature. Hike and swim Oak Creek, a 2-minute walk away!! Lie in bed and watch the stars or wake up embraced by the trees you view through the bedroom skylights. Walk to the famed Red Rock Crossing. Hike Secret Slick Rock for an amazing sacred experience, bringing you to a breathtaking view of Cathedral Rock and very sacred location. A hammock provided for lounging by the creek or sleeping under the stars!

The Cottage

Built in 2017. It's pleasant 15 minute walk to historic downtown Flagstaff and 2 blocks to Thorpe park with hiking and biking on Observatory Mesa. A radiant heat concrete floor on 1st level and solid hickory on the stairs and 2nd level bedroom. An abundance of natural light from the many windows and skylights. The design is centered around the well equipped kitchen with a high ceiling, purple appliances, unique marble counter top and other high end finishes.
