This 2 bedrooms house was built with natural Cotswolds stone. The entire house is secluded with a hot tub and has a luxuriously charming feel. It is perfectly situated to enjoy what the picturesque local area has to offer. The local shops, restaurants, and attractions are only a five-minute drive away.

The wooden cabin, Haven on the Hill, fully insulated build on an elevated platform with views looking over the Forest of Dean. A private and secluded dwelling situated in our grounds near our home. With good pubs and walks nearby this cabin is perfect for a stay away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. Squirrel Lodge is a pine scented slice of heaven in the Forest of Dean. Well equipped and situated overlooking a meadow and has direct walks into the forest and onto the Bream Heritage Walk. Also an absolute haven for fun seekers with one of the UK’s best cycle trails and downhill mountain bike course, along with abseiling, caving and canoeing. For walkers a wealth of forest trails that will guide you through the forest, take in the sculpture trail or simply take a stroll along the river Wye.

Peaceful Stone Cottage among fabulous gardens

The Garden House is a peaceful stone cottage set in the historic gardens of High Glanau Manor, the home of H. Avray Tipping (1855-1933) the Architectural Editor of Country Life Magazine from 1907. High Glanau Manor is an important Arts & Crafts house set in 12 acres of gardens designed in 1922. The gardens retain many original features including formal terraces, octagonal pool, glasshouse, pergola and 100 ft long double herbaceous borders. There are spectacular views to the Brecon Beacons

Tom's Hut

Get away from it all in a cosy shepherd’s hut amongst trees in a beautiful rural location. Tom's Hut has a comfortable double bed, storage below and a compact kitchen unit with double gas hob, sink and fridge, pots, pans crockery and cutlery. Keep warm with a wood-burner and fire wood provided, or underfloor heating. Outside, there is a table for al-fresco dining. A newly built, heated shower room is close to the hut. Just 3 miles from Newent and various pubs. Please note there is no WiFi.

Forest of Dean, The Old Chapel

In the Forest of Dean, the Old Chapel is situated next to woodland with wonderful walks right on the doorstep. The chapel has been sympathetically restored and retains many original features, character and charm. An abundance of pine cladding on walls and ceilings give a wonderful feeling of warmth and relaxation. The floors are original pine. Candles in the evening and a beast of a woodburner makes this an incredibly relaxing place to be. Something a little bit different.

It is located on Offas Dyke footpath on a very quiet road, so is great for anyone looking to explore the network of Wye Valley footpaths. Monmouth, Forest of Dean, Bristol, Bath and Cardiff are close enough for day visits. Whatever season you prefer, it's a wonderful place to recharge your batteries and connect with nature.
