Great family vacation base for a Downeast Maine Adventure. Two story, newly renovated, four season cabin with 1000 square feet of living space sits in a wooded cove off an easily-accessible rural paved road. Centrally located between the two units of Acadia National Park (Mount Desert Island and Schoodic Peninsula) and the beautiful, quiet lakes and mountains of the Donnell Pond Maine State Preserve. Although not on the water, there is access to our private Taunton Bay shore, 3.5 miles away.

Immaculate, cozy and quaint lake side chalet with dock and beach on pristine George’s Pond. Enjoy beautiful sunrises and kayaking on the clean, clear water of the 360 acre pond known for its variety of fish. Comes fully furnished and equipped with all the normal amenities, including a gas grill, large fire pit with wood, 4 kayaks, and paddle board to explore the lake. Only 23 miles to Acadia and Bar Harbor, and conveniently located 15 minutes from Ellsworth, and 5 minutes from a trading post.

We truly want Everyone to feel welcome here! Bar Harbor is a scenic 45 minute drive away. There is great hiking/xc skiing in our huge back yard (Sunrise trail/Maine reserve land) Rustic farm apartment with full kitchen. Farm veg can be bought in season, sometimes eggs& our own wine, jam, hot sauce, maple syrup. Just ask! Can accommodate 6 folks, one in a cupola! Hot shower & heat. There is a sawdust compost toilet-Easy to use & no smell! We recognize we are on unceded Wabanaki land. 🙏🏼

Relax on large wrap around deck as you admire the water views while enjoying the sights and sounds of a picturesque stream meandering through property en route to the cove. 270' of protected cove frontage for great swimming/kayaking.

Constructed in 2022, Tranquility boasts 1300 sqft of living paradise with private frontage on Georges Pond. Just minutes from the Maine Coastal Highway, Route 1, and a short 30 minute drive to Mt. Desert Island hosting Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. Enjoy canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, camp fires and cook some lobstah enjoying all the privacy you can handle.

Our waterfront home is a special place to relax on the coast of Maine. Take a short walk down the driveway to our private peninsula and admire Schoodic and Cadillac Mountain. See Bald Eagles, Osprey and other wildlife from the kitchen table. Bring your kayaks to explore the bay or your bikes to enjoy Acadia or The Downeast Sunrise Trail. We are 10 miles from Ellsworth, 26 miles to Bar Harbor, 20 miles to Winter Harbor and the Schoodic Peninsula portion of Acadia National Park.
