This perfect waterfront bayhouse has been family-kept since the 1940s. Fully re-built in 2009 after Ike, it is a great location for a fishing weekend. Front family room with multiple couches, and a futon; large dining room, and kitchen. The back rooms includes 4 beds; Two Pristine bathrooms inside, along with one inside and one outside shower. You’ll love my place because of the views and the location. My place is good for couples, families (with kids), big groups, and furry friends (pets).

The house is located about 10 minutes from the beaches, the Historical Strand district and Moody Gardens. The price listed is for 1-6 guest. Centrally located on the island, it is just a few minutes drive to all of Galveston's major attractions. Recently remodeled it is set up for the perfect stay away from home. The apartment is located on the side of the main house with off-street parking and a private gate/entrance to access the apartment. Self check-in after 3:00pm with coded door lock.

The 1847 Powhattan House & Living History Museum

Until there is time-travel, staying in the 1847 Powhatan House may be the next best thing. This is the 3rd oldest house in Galveston and has an amazing, almost unbelievable history. This beautiful Greek Revival style home is located 3 blocks from the beach and close to the Strand. The story of the house is told in a brief documentary on YouTube entitled “The Amazing History of Galveston's 1847 Powhatan House.”
