It sits in 12 acres of fields and the cottage has its own private garden. With peaceful, open countryside all around you, this is a perfect place to relax. And there's a wood burner with free logs! and a fire guard provided. Unusualy for this part of Wales the WiFi is fibre with a download speed of 80mbps and upload of 60mbps.

Troedyrhiw is a sanctuary, a two bedroom, detached, character stone and beamed cottage nestling in a peaceful, wooded valley on the Carmarthenshire/Pembrokeshire border where nature is thriving. Rustic and comfortable. We are doggie friendly, are happy to welcome well behaved dogs. Troedyrhiw is the perfect base for being in nature, walking, cycling and exploring the scenic areas of this beautiful part Wales. The cottage was built in the 1800's and is a traditional, stone Welsh cottage.

Just a 20 minute drive and you are at wonderful sandy beaches and stunning coastal path walks – ideal for the family dog too! Plenty of parking & EV charger. Charming 17th century former Coaching Inn overlooking beautiful open countryside. Sleeps 8-12. Large modern open plan kitchen with open fire, traditional snug with wood-burner, large patio and garden, fire-pit, pickleball court, swings. An inn has existed at this crossroads for centuries. The building dates back to the 1600s. We sensitively restored the property in 2021 conserving the lime-washed walls and beams and creating a light and spacious living area. Sole use of 3 acre field.

The cosy cottage - Clydfan

Clydfan (means 'cosy cottage' in Welsh) is one of two south-facing former quarryman's cottages looking toward the Preseli mountains. Originally two-up-two-down, the cottage was extended to the west in the 1970s for a kitchen and bathroom to be added and the two downstairs rooms are now a tiled through lounge. It's small, but set in a large garden; part wild and part lawned, so plenty of places to hide in. Footpaths lead to the slate quarries and to Glogue.

Cwmderi, a green valley.

Cwmderi is an old Welsh cottage at the heart of a working farm and with superb views of the Cynin valley. The cottage has been restored in an open-plan style to a very high standard in traditional ways using local materials, at its centre is a large wood stove. There are places for picnics on the farm and plenty of quiet walking routes around the area.
