Each house is constructed almost entirely from bamboo and wood, custom-designed by the local Islanders and built by hand. Djamezz Lumbung is quietly located on the Northeast side of Gili Air just a few minutes walk from the beach. In the immediate vicinity are various shops, restaurants and warungs (local eateries).
