The Barn - Farm at Freeburgh on Ovens River

With direct, private access to the Great Valley Trail and the Ovens River, The Barn provides luxurious bespoke accommodation and complimentary mountain bikes for your stay. Located on 10 acres, The Barn is an outbuilding to the family home, along with our farm stay, The Stables. Within 10 minutes to the tourist town of Bright, and in close proximity to skiing and snow boarding at Falls Creek and Mt Hotham, a short 45 minute drive away. Horse stays are also an option, with trail riding close by!

The Loft

Relax on our quaint farm in our freshly renovated Barn Loft. Enjoy nature and tranquil surrounds of Rose Cottage, complete with friendly farm animals. The loft is ideally suited to couples wanting to enjoy a quiet stay with a short walk into Hastings with its great cafes, restaurants and shops. The loft has all the basics that you need with a small kitchenette, microwave, fridge and utensils. There is airconditioning and a renovated ensuite. Enjoy all that the Mornington Peninsula has to offer.

Bluestone Farm Cottage 19th Century - 3BR w/ View

Welcome to Karool Cottages, your country getaway in Mernda Victoria. This historic 1853 cottage was built of locally quarried bluestone, 'Karool' being the local aboriginal word for bluestone. It originally served as a shepherd's hut, grain store, and carriage room. The cottages and facilities were renovated in 2016 to include all of the creature comforts and amenities to provide you with a private five-star experience right in the heart of farm country.
