MacLeod Cove is a 3-bedroom cottage on the Bras d'Or, Cape Breton's beautiful inland sea. Enjoy ocean views and private cove, within 25 minutes drive of Baddeck, North Sydney (Newfoundland ferry terminal), and the Cabot Trail. Smoking and fires of any kind are not permitted anywhere on the property. The cottage is very private, surrounded by forest and sea. It typically has good cell phone coverage and we have wifi. You just need to nestle yourself into the Adirondack chairs overlooking the meadow and lake. Perfect for families, golfers, ski enthusiasts and nature lovers to rest, recover and rejuvenate.

Destination South Bar

Private downstairs 2-bedroom apartment located in the quiet community of South Bar. Take advantage of the view and great sunsets with a relaxing stroll down to the shore. Apartment is well suited for 2 couples, a small family or solo travelers. Unfortunately we cannot allow pets in our Airbnb…we are unable to make exceptions to this policy. Full size newly renovated kitchen available for cooking meals or prepping a light snack. Washer and dryer are also available for your convenience.

Beach House on Bras d’Or Lakes

Each person after the first 2, will be charged an additional $30/night. Due to the delicate nature of rural utilities, only paying guests are welcome to use the property. No gatherings or parties. The Bunkie is a STAND ALONE structure, separate from the Beach House. Consider this if traveling with young kids. This cozy bunkie (10’ x 14’) sports a comfy King sized bed, vaulted ceiling, great views and a covered deck. THIIS IS THE ONLY CLIMATE CONTROLLED AREA at the property.

Our cozy cottage is located in Mira Gut, NS. Come enjoy the front patio with a beautiful view of Mira Bay! There is a private beach across the street or try Mira Gut provincial park beach approximately 1 km down the road. There is a children’s play structure onsite. The cottage has been newly renovated and is very modern and tastefully decorated - a true oasis!

Modern micro-home on 2.5 acre ocean front lot. Walk the trails along the shore right from the deck, or just relax and watch the ships go by. There is a steep trail down the cliff to a pebble beach (which sometimes washes out) Nearby attractions; 2 min to restaurants in Dominion and Dominion Beach, 10 min to the airport and CBU, 20 min to downtown Sydney.
