The Acorn Guest House

The Acorn Guest House is a two-level, self-contained accommodation located 2 minutes from the ferry landing in Balfour, BC and only 30 minutes from Nelson. Features include a full kitchen, 2 bedrooms with queen beds, 1 ½ baths, a washer and dryer, patio and balcony, fire pit, and plenty of free parking with room for RV's or Trailers. Our Guests appreciate "The Acorn" for its close proximity to Balfour, Ainsworth Hot Springs, Kokanee Creek Provincial Park, and the beautiful Balfour Golf Course.

Quaint Log cabin. Main floor with kitchen, bathroom, bedroom with double bed and loft with queen bed. Covered deck with table, chairs and BBQ off of the main floor. Separate entrance to the ground suite with second kitchen, bathroom, bedroom with queen bed. Close to water access. 7 night minimum stay in peak months. Check-in Sun.4pm and check-out Sun. 11am. Beautiful 3 bed, 1bath custom log home situated on Crawford Creek. Walking or biking distance to restaurants, shops and the golf course. About 2 km from the beautiful sandy beaches of Crawford Bay. In winter, the Whitewater Ski hill is about 40 minute (+ scenic ferry ride) away. There is ample cross country skiing on the Kokanee Springs golf course and up Crawford Creek road as well as the spectacular Ainsworth Hot Springs just across the ferry(booking required). Fire pit available seasonally.

It’s an 8 minute drive to the beautiful village of Kaslo and a 10 minute drive to Ainsworth Hot Springs. It's a 30 minute walk to the stunning ‘Fletcher Falls’; an amazing waterfall and quiet beach. There is also year round use of a hot tub which overlooks the stunning view of the lake and mountains.

The Rusty Bear - Waterfront home on Kootenay Lake.

The Rusty Bear is our awesome home in Procter Point. Our rock beach on Kootenay Lake gives way to a world of watersports possibilities including kayaking, SUP and world-class fishing. The small community of Procter offers a General Store (complete with fuel and liquor) as well as the Village Bakery (with their famous cinnamon buns). Hiking and biking the Proctologist trails are just out the front door. Golfing is around the corner. Dining, if not on our amazing deck, is a short drive.
