Living Room amenities include a Smart TV and an Amazon Fire TV Stick. Fully equipped kitchen and cooking essentials. Lovely patio with seating area and herb garden. Comfortable bed and quality linens. Keurig coffee maker with coffee and tea provided. You have your own private entrance and patio area on an entire different side of the house so your experience can be as private as you like. The entire apartment which includes: washer/dryer, fully equipped kitchen and patio area. Your host will be available for anything you need during your stay. My daughter/co-host, Bernadette, a young D.C. professional, can also answer any questions about the D.C. area, restaurants and other cool places to go. The apartment is in a quiet suburban neighborhood with easy access to the Washington area. It's a short walk to the FDA. Downtown Silver Spring is nearby, with its many restaurants, bars, Fillmore music venue, Ellsworth Dog Park, and a movie theater. The National Archives, University of Maryland College Park and UMUC are just few miles away. A Ride-On bus stop is located on the same block as the apartment. A Metro bus stop is 5 minute walk. Silver Spring Metro Station is about 4 miles away. There are a few parking garages at the Silver Spring Metro Station if you choose to drive there and then hop on the metro. Free parking on weekends and holidays at all Montgomery County Parking garages (some lots and street parking may require payment on Saturday). You could also Uber/Lyft to the metro station or all the way into the city (great option esp if you're splitting fare).

Make your home in our home, just steps from the University of Maryland. Your stay will be in the basement apartment of our home, with your own private entrance from the back of the house and down the exterior stairwell. The apartment includes one bedroom, a full kitchen, walk in closet with washer and dryer, one full and one half bath, and lots of space for relaxing or playing, depending on whatever you need while you're in town. We are .7 miles from UMD's SECU stadium - an easy walk to events.

Get cozy with your guests in a space that has a bedroom with a king-size bed, an 85-inch smart TV, soft sectional , private toilet, bathroom and kitchenet, all in the same space. None of the amenities are shared. The fully-equipped kitchenet has everything you'll need to cook and warm your meals. Guest suite is the entire basement apartment which is a part of a bigger home where host lives.

There is free street parking near the premises. 15 min drive from downtown DC and great restaurants. If taking public transportation, the house is a 15 min walk from the Fort Totten metro and a bus stop a 1 min walk away. Only a 5 mins walk from Giant grocery store and fast food options.

This in-law suite is better defined as a small apt. attached to house; own entrance, bathroom, kitchen & free parking! Queen bed, clean sheets, towels, iron, board, kitchen pots, dining table, TV & more. It’s small but with all amenities necessary to live. If looking for a huge space, this will not be it. Good for single/couple cruising by the DMV on a BUDGET! -20 min walk to metro; off DC border, 18 min. drive to center of city.

2 miles from DC, easily accessible by public transportation. 0.2 mile walk to bus stop to Silver Spring metro, or less than a 2 mile drive to the metro! Quiet and safe neighborhood (use Blair HS as a reference for location). Comfortable, clean, new space- close to all the things the DMV has to offer. Queen bedroom with a workspace & fast Wi-Fi, and living space with giant couch. There is also a gym available.
