Galiano Cabin Hideaway

Located on Galiano Island, British Columbia about a 10 minute drive from Sturdies Bay, this island hideaway is a lovely, "open concept" cabin high amongst the treetops. It is perfect for a couple or a couple with a young child that wants to escape from city life and relax in the quiet of the forest. There is one double bed, one sofabed, a dining space, a wood stove for heating along with baseboard heaters, a washer and a dryer, a complete kitchen and full bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. There is parking space in front of the cabin for a maximum of two cars. With large windows, this cabin has a superb view that overlooks the lush Galiano forest and even further with ocean views to the mainland. There are two decks. One covered front deck with deck chairs and a hammock to lounge and look out over Galiano. The rear deck is nicely secluded with a hammock, small bistro table and propane barbecue. It is a 5 minute drive from the nearest beaches, food stores, and shops, and just a 10 minute drive to Montague Harbour Marina Beach and Campsite with moped, kayak, canoe, and boat rentals. There are a number of dining opportunities, cafes, and restaurants close by. This Galiano Cabin Hideaway is unparalleled. It is ideal for a couple seeking relaxation. With this break from the city, you will be snug within the forest and won't feel the need to be anywhere else! There is a 2 night minimum requirement.

Galiano Island Cabin

This is a cosy cabin sits on seven acres of land with water access. It has a firewood stove and hardwood floors in the main part of the cabin - tiling the living room. The decor is country chic. The property is rural about 11 miles from any store but close to beautiful hiking trails, and has access to a staircase down to a deck at the water where we swim. We face Saltspring Island and the southern tip of Wallace - in fact it is just a kayak ride across Trincomali channel to Salt Spring.

Galiano Island Eagles Nest Retreat Cabin - Private

The cabin is self-contained and private. It’s located in the forest with short distance from ocean view. If you wish to use the fire place ***bring your own firewood or it can be purchased at the Corner Store or Garage on the island. If power outages we will be there to bring you firewood. We are surrounded by the ocean with endless trails. Walk to the beach,Top of the World (15 minutes) or go for a hike on Mount Galiano. Perfect setting to reflect.
