Sætún is a stylish house about 100 meters from the ocean with a excellent view over the ocean and the mountains of Snæfellsnes peninsula. The picturesque Kirkjufell mountain is framed into the living room large window. This is a excellent place to relax and enjoy nature and to use as a base for day trips around Snæfellsnes. The house is placed in a birds nesting area with a vivid birdlife. Seals are regularly seen in the 3 minute away beach. The house itself is well equipped with big veranda.

We are a family run business that offers a brightly decorated apartment which is located in central Grundarfjördur. The apartment has a view towards Kirkjufell mountain. We, the family, live in the main house, and we have a cat called Annabelle. Sometimes she likes to say hello to the guests and could maybe stop by for a visit, but Annabelle is a lady and very well-trained. We are re-decorating the apartment and pictures of it will come in May. We and Annabelle look forward to hosting you.
