The Castel'Rei House ( farmhouse was quite tastefully restored some years ago), in North Portugal lies at the edge of a green valley, viewing the hilltop where a few thousand years ago the Citânia de Briteiros, a walled settlement, was founded. Inside the authentic elements such as the granite walls and the original bread oven are in pleasant contrast with the modern architecture of the kitchen and the bathrooms and the light, airy bedrooms.The house is surrounded by a lovely, lush garden.
