A warm welcome awaits

Our charming bedroom has a queen bed, sofa, bistro table and chairs and is close to beach access at Southey Point as in our cover pic.The bathroom has a newly installed shower, washbasin and composting toilet. There is a closet and an outside deck space. Although the space doesn’t have a kitchen, there is a fridge, kettle, coffee maker and toaster for the convenience of our guests and continental breakfast items are provided. We look forward to welcoming guests to this idyllic part of the world.

The sandstone rock beach is perfect for summer swimming or spring/fall storm watching. Daily sightings of seals, sea lions, eagles, all manner of birds and whales pass by this beach. Located on Active Pass, the spectacular marine passage separating Galiano and Mayne islands, InTheBluff - Galiano’s Oceanside Log House offers one of the most stunning outlooks in the Southern Gulf Islands. With 2 bedrooms, each with a queen bed it accommodates up to 4. Recent changes with the Iocal governance (Islands Trust) necessitates additional accommodation be developed on the same property as a STVR. An owner's cottage is currently being constructed, well removed from the log house.

Situated in 22 acres of untouched forest our charming cottage is just steps from a secluded sand and pebble beach with its incredible waterfront view, fabulous sunsets, trails, and active, diverse wildlife. A stunning 60-90 min ferry trip from the Mainland. No car required! Seal Beach is 3 km from the ferry. Only 1 km from restaurants, a coffee shop, bakery, and 2 great grocery stores. A happy place for children and dog friendly! A wonderful get-away any time of year!
