Tranquility & Vistas on the Farm in the Guest Barn

When you arrive at our 16 acre farmstead and enter the Guest Barn, you'll notice the construction materials which were salvaged from a nearby barn and corncrib. The timbers from these buildings were torn down, moved to our farm and rebuilt into a smaller “new” barn. It truly represents a real farm experience you can feel. While here, you'll slow down and enjoy the tranquility. Walk around the farm, make friends with a cow, watch barn kitties play, while gazing across the vast farm vistas.

Bright & Breezy Grain Bin Getaway at Wold Farm

You'll love this unique and romantic escape. Five miles down a gravel road, surrounded by the hum of nature, fields of prairie, and sunshine, you’ll find Wold Farm. We've renovated one of our vintage grain bins into a light-filled cabin on the prairie. One mile from the Turkey River, enjoy fishing or floating. Shop boutiques and local art in nearby Elkader. Stop at the famous St Olaf Tavern. Or just relax and soak in the quiet. Perfect for couples, a friend retreat, or solo adventure!

Glenwood Getaway

1860's log cabin, remodeled into a modern house. Located 8 miles east of Decorah on 5 acres of woods. Cell service is weak (Verizon, US Cell) or not available (others). WiFi is available. TV with local BluRay/DVD/VHS only - No TV channel service. Come here to get away. The last mile to the house is a gravel road. Main entry is on the 1st (lowest) floor. One bedroom on the 2nd floor. Two bedrooms on the 3rd floor. There is one bathroom on each floor. Stairs to the 3rd floor are steep.

Coffee make and toaster also provided. River for canoeing and kayaking within walking distance.
