Cwt Glo is a cosy and peaceful cottage for two in Northern Snowdonia nestled between two mountain ranges the Carneddau and Glyderau. Cwt Glo is situated in a small village near Bethesda called Mynydd Llandygai. There is private off road parking next to the cottage. Cwt Glo is Welsh for Coal house and the cottage was the place where the coal was weighed and measured. The property has been both a farm and coal yard for the local area. Cwt Glo is a semi sustainable/off grid cottage it has a solar and wind system however there is the backup of mains electricity. There is also an LPG central heating and hot water system. The cottage has a wood burning stove to keep you cosy and warm in the evening after a busy day exploring the local area. We also provide the wood for your stay.

Our Shepherds Hut newly built in 2021 sleeps 2 people and nestles nicely into it's own private space just next to the house, which is in a gorgeous rural location in the heart of Snowdonia national park. This hut has electricity, central heating, and hot water making it a cosy and warm place to stay all year round. There is an outdoor firepit/BBQ with table and bench to sit and eat, where you can take in the beautiful view. It's a perfect location for keen walkers and popular area for cyclist's.

Stunning Shepherds Hut With Hot Tub & Sea Views

This Shepherds Hut is our smallest hut but cosy. The Hot Tub overlooks the sea & mountains. There is a balcony for alfresco dining & for taking in the stunning views. A romantic get away in an area of outstanding natural beauty. It's 5 mins from the beach in a car, as well as hill, woodland & mountain walks. The hut has heating, a hob, microwave, toaster & shower/ toilet inside. A fire pit is on site plus a BBQ, if you you are 6ft plus please look at my other hut or cabin as they are bigger

Gwenlli Shepherds Hut

Here is our newly completed shepherds Hut -Gwenlli a welsh name that depicts the view of Bardsey Island on the horizon. Situated in a peaceful corner of our field, nestled in the hills above the small village of Talybont in Snowdonia. Overlooking cardigan bay and boasting panaramic views from the Snowdon mountain range in the north to witnessing a memorable sunset over the Lleyn peninsula with a drink in your hand whilst relaxing in the easy to use electric jacuzzi hot tub.

17th Century Mountain Farm Barn at Perthi

Part of Perthi Holiday Cottages, Ty Hebog is a characterful Grade II 17th-century barn on our working mountain farm above Beddgelert. With stunning views of Llyn Celyn, this glamping pod comes with everything you need for a relaxing or adventurous break. Located in Eryri National Park there are endless trails that can be explored or if it’s a relaxing break you need, drink in the views from the hot tub in this peaceful area of North Wales. Private parking available for 2 vehicles. We're about an hour away from Snowdon Mountain & 10 minute drive away from Ty Nant car park for Cader Idris. The nearest town is Dolgellau (10 minute drive away) which has 2 supermarkets, 2 petrol stations & some great cafes,pubs & shops.
