Cozy alpine guesthouse cabins with in-house natural hotspring baths in the forested highlands of Japan's epic 3000m Nagano Alps, offering the closest possible accommodation to the "Roof of Japan" - the Alpine Route and Takase hiking treks. Hakuba ski resorts start 15 minutes away. We also have a compact music studio in the main lodge with guitars, bass, keyboard and electronic drum kit - suitable for a small group of musicians with space for 3 to 4 players and 6 to 8 intimate audience seats.

Kizuna Lodge is conveniently located located in Lower Wadano at the base of Happoone ski resort in the nice setting of Wadano Forest. Kizuna Lodge is a pet friendly property with great hosts and breakfast so come and make yourself at home in our comfortable nature lodge any time of the year. This room is a Japanese Tatami room with western beds. The room is a south east facing room with great sunlight throughout the day. The beds can be set up as 2 x single beds or 1 King size bed. Extra futons can be added with up to 3 people able to stay comfortably. Extra costs per person for larger groups. Room includes: Buffet breakfast, Free wifi, 1 king or 2 single Beds plus extra futons if needed, sun room area, tissues, bedside table, bedside lamp, bath towels, heater.

Penke Panke Lodge - Twin room w breakfast and BBQ.

Penke Panke Lodge is a well equipped nature lodge located in the scenic upper Wadano at the base of Happoone ski resort. Enjoy nature but without loosing all the modern comforts of home. We have complimentary bikes and rafts to take the lake and you can enjoy a evening BBQ for only 2,000 yen to help us cover the cost of the coals or gas and the time to clean the grill.

Enjoy a well-priced comfortable 2 room suite with private bathroom on the second story with a nice out look into the trees. One room is a Queen room with sitting are and the second room is a junior room with a bunk bed and desk and there is a bathroom in between the 2 rooms with separate toilet and shower room.
