We are sharing our "happy place". Cozy, family-friendly cottage has everything you need to enjoy a lovely vacation in a quintessential New England town. Ideally located between Guilford's famous green, gorgeous harbor and town beach, easily walk everywhere. High-season/weekend rate reflected in general view--check for actual. Recommended for groups of up to 4 (5 if with kids). Second bedroom (king) is open to living area-we provide a folding screen for door area and curtain for “passthrough”.

The Rising Tide Cottage

The Rising Tide Cottage is recently updated and located in a quiet neighborhood on the Connecticut shoreline. Downtown Madison is less than a mile away and home to award-winning restaurants, a movie theater, and many shops. We are 5 houses down from our neighborhood Pent Road Beach and supply complimentary beach chairs, towels and umbrella. Enjoy your morning coffee on the private patio watching the tide rise and fall, overlooking a protected wildlife sanctuary at Hammonassett Beach State Park

Walk (1.5 miles) or kayak (during high tide) to Grass Island for a tranquil beach experience, or drive (2 miles) to downtown, with beaches, bookstores, a quaint town cinema and a wide array of restaurants. Relax (or fish) on the stone porch as egrets, osprey, and kingfishers fly above you.

Ideally located off the I-95 halfway between NYC & Boston, both of which are a train ride away.

Vintage Cabin Suite near Hammonasset Beach (No.1)

Cozy cabin suite near the beach and greenway trail, just a quick drive to charming downtown area. Cottage (#1) is a suite-style space including one bedroom with 1 queen bed; sitting room; coffee bar with coffee maker, mini fridge, microwave, and toaster; and, a small private bathroom with shower. This space can accommodate up to 2 adults. This building is a duplex and you may have neighbors in the adjacent suite. Each unit has a private entrance on opposite ends of the building.

Lakefront Retreat Tiny House

Discover a tranquil lakeside escape in our cozy tiny house, nestled within a boutique RV Park in East Lyme, CT, just 15 minutes from Mystic. Perfect for couples seeking a romantic getaway or individuals looking for a serene retreat. Compact in size but loaded with all the comforts you need: a comfy queen bed, smart TV and fast WiFi, a fully-equipped kitchen, a bathroom with full sized shower and flushing toilet, inviting decor and an unbeatable lake view!

Guest House at the Marina

Traveling nurses, academic rentals happily considered! A beautiful, modern one bedroom apartment on the second floor with a gorgeous view of the Indian River and tidal marsh. It is 600 sq feet, completely renovated, with a queen size bed, a well-appointed kitchen & bathroom. Walking distance to the Clinton train station. Stays in-season include use of 2 kayaks or SUPs per day (2 hours) provided by Indian River Kayak from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

The Barn by the Sound

Spend a weekend in The Barn: a modern designed free-standing building with guest studio apartment above, designed to look like a barn; the studio has views at tree level of a quiet, old neighborhood; one block from Long Island Sound; on a section of the historic old Boston Post Road. There is lots of natural light coming from a large window with a lovely view of a privet hedge on our property overlooking a park like property across the street.

Wintergreen Gardens Suite @ William Becroft House

LGBTQ friendly. Our 1915 Arts & Crafts bungalow's spacious in-law suite offers driveway parking, private entrance, sunroom, king bedroom, en-suite bath, kitchenette w/fridge, micro, coffee maker, toaster. Relax in bed with 40" HDTV with Amazon Prime, HBO Max, Netflix, premium cable. Enjoy private gardens to sun, read a book or cup of coffee. Short drive to 4 Vineyards, Theater and the train station. I am not responsible for wifi.
