Your Air Conditioned accoms are a small Off Grid Tiny Home. It is situated in Taumārere just out of Kawakawa on SH11 on the way to Paihia on our working Regenerative Farm. Specifically built for couples to enjoy the privacy and beautiful farm views over green paddocks to the Cycleway and Vintage Railway. Our tiny house is intimate, open plan, with a small kitchen incl a double gas stovetop and a wee fridge/freezer. Check out our waterhole, walk with the cows, relax and enjoy! Paihia 17min drive

The Little Sanctuary

The Little Sanctuary is a perfect place to start your journey around Northland. Located in historic Waimate North, 5 minutes from Te Waimate Mission. Kerikeri or Paihia is 20 minutes by car or 15 minutes to Ngawha Hot Springs. The cabin is a self-contained unit (3x6 metres) with heating/air conditioning, surrounded by cottage gardens filled with flowers creating a peaceful and relaxing environment for you to unwind. Cereal, bread, milk, tea and coffee are provided for you to make breakfast.

Still to be seen rising from the lagoon near our house is the causeway where the early settlers unloaded their ships, hence the name Causeway Road - which may well be one of the oldest roads in New Zealand.

If we do not have people staying before or after you we offer flexible check in and check out. We charge a $85 cleaning fee. Also there is an optional $55 charge if you would like us to have the Hot Tub ready to use.
