Welcome to The Squirrel Away! We have a 3 bedroom cottage on quiet and peaceful Jordan Lake. Suitable for 4 Adults and 3 kids or 6 adults. Cottage has a 6 person hot tub and a separate wood fired sauna at the water for you to enjoy year round. It sits above the lake facing south west for amazing views. It is heated by woodstove for that authentic cottage feel. Wood, x-country skis, snow shoes, and drilled well. There are 3 Kingsdown Queen sized beds with one having a single on top.

Our beautiful cottage is situated right at the waters edge. The water is both child friendly being able to walk at the shore line or great for dive in off of the end of the dock. Enjoy sun all day & then enjoy the breathtaking sunsets from the western facing dock. All the water toys! Kayaks, tubes, stand up, paddle board, & Floats to enjoy the crystal clean water. Amenities in the area: LCBO, Home Hardware, Convince store - with some groceries available, Golf, Conservation area.

Ideal place for couples and families with children of all ages. The home is located on Oak Lake which is a 2 hours and 20 minutes drive from Toronto and 3 hours from Ottawa. The cottage is nestled on the scenic shores of Chandos Lake, one of the cleanest lakes in the Kawartha’s, a mere 2.5 hours northeast of Toronto and 3 hours from Ottawa. Well equipped with modern amenities, you sacrifice nothing. There is a gentle slope to the water’s edge where you’ll find a dock and a great swimming spot with a sandy bottom. There are 2 kayaks, a canoe and a paddleboat available for your use along with the recommended safety equipment.
