Our alpacas and llamas are quiet observers but also provide plenty of entertainment of their own. Our group of Angora rabbits can be seen out the window hopping around their enclosures.

Forest Hale Cabin @ Permaculture Farm, Waterfall

A beautiful get-away surrounded by nature on a cacao farm! One-bedroom + loft cabin, full kitchen, bathroom, w/d, sunny lanai, on our Big Island off-grid permaculture farm. Cabin is nestled in a food forest a few hundred feet from a stunning waterfall with swimming hole in a peaceful bamboo grove. One king-size bed in bedroom, two twin beds in loft, which has low ceiling & is accessed by steep narrow stairs. Free entrance to botanic garden. Organic eggs, homemade chocolate at farmstand!

Carson's Kaloko Mountain Cabin

This rustic and cozy cabin sits on our 5 acre parcel in the cloud forest above Kona town on the Big Island, called Kaloko Mauka. It has it's own private little corner of the property, complete with secluded hot tub, yard and large lanai perfect for the bbq! One king bed in the studio, best for 2-3 adults. Loft can suit a child or two 8 years and older or another adult. There is a fold out futon with extra bedding and pillows. Loft railing is not completely protected for children under 8.

The cottage easily fits a family of 6 (4 adults & 2 children or 2 adults & 4 children or 3 adults & 3 children) (License # BBPH 2017/0004, SUP 2017/0010) As our guest, you will enjoy the modern finish and conveniences as well as a large roomy covered deck amidst the casual feel of old Hawaiiana.

During your stay I highly recommend the Papaaloa Country Store and Restaurant just down the road. They have great pizza and fresh locally grown foods and local style menu. Coffee Farm Retreat

咖啡庄园 Five acre coffee farm, elevation 1500', about one mile up mountain from Highway 11 south Kona. The road is all weather, paved in some places, a little bumpy, worth the 5 min ride. This is Hawaii farm country, not your suburban street with lights and sidewalks. 100 people will visit, 99 love it, one person will complain about the road. Not for everyone. The best views in Kona, quiet, plenty of room. Out of the way, but not isolated. Two bed rooms and a private loft with views.
