Large studio unit attached to our family home in HPP, a rural subdivision in Puna on Hawai‘i Island. 20 min from Hilo Int'l Airport & 40 min from Volcanoes National Park. We have two large dogs, Jack & Boogie, and many cats. They bark and will be excited to meet you. If you aren't comfortable around large dogs this is not the place for you. Animal noises, including coqui frogs, are part of this rural space. You agree to all "House Rules" by instantly booking.

Stunning Ocean Views - Whale House Hawaii

Located on a quiet peninsula of Keaau, in the Hawaiian Paradise Park sub-devision, just outside of Hilo, the Whale House is a stand-alone residence for one guest, families or group. A truly unique house built directly on top of an ancient lava flow. Unlike all other houses in the area, a tractor did not level the lava to build a structure. The Whale House is constructed entirely on original, untouched lava flow just yards from the Pacific Ocean.

Please come and enjoy our quiet, clean, first floor unit. Sit and relax on the covered lanai, or enjoy a glass of wine by the fire. Listen while the coquis lull you to sleep at night and gently awaken to the cacophony of tropical birds in the morning.
