Lake Front Retreat & Water Sports

The downstairs apartment is available for AirBnB guests. Our home is on the lake in the Foothills of NC with water sports in our back yard. Great atmosphere, views, lake, and R&R. The apartment includes one bedroom (1 king size bed, 1 queen foam mattress), a living room, an entertainment area with pool table and darts. It also has a full private bath. The apartment steps out onto a private lower deck overlooking the lake. Our place is good for couples, adventurers, business people, and families.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Secluded home yet close to town. Nestled in a quiet cove right off the main channel on Lake Hickory. It has a heated indoor pool so even in the winter time you can enjoy the water with view of the lake. There is a dock as well. So if you happen to want to enjoy the lake, you can. The house has its own boat ramp so if you want to bring your own boat you can. If not there are places to rent them from. Hope you come and enjoy our piece of paradise.

Cozy cabin in the woods. You can anchor in and enjoy the peaceful quiet of the cove, sit by the fire, laze in the hammock. Or take advantage of being centrally located to many Lake Norman amenities. You'll have a personal dock to moor your own boat. Nearby marinas offer boat/jetski/paddle board rentals. There is a canoe and kayak on premises as well as various sized life jackets. Restaurants from pizza to upscale lake view dining are all close by. Full kitchen if you prefer to cook here.

We have over a half mile of hatchery supported trout streams to fish (with a stocking point on the property), swimming holes, and private trails located directly on the property. Or with just a 2 minute drive up the road you can be in the South Mountains state park to take some local hikes to some awesome places like the watershed lake. You are welcome to bring your own boat/jet ski and secure it to our dock. Relax and enjoy watching wildlife from your private deck. Hickory’s new River Walk (which winds through the woods)is directly across the lake. Charlotte, Asheville, and Boone are within one hour of the property.

The Cottage in the Cove is a charming 3 bedroom 1 1/2 bath home on Lake Norman. This warm and cozy cottage has been freshly remodeled while maintaining its charming character with exposed rock walls in the open floor plan living areas. This quaint area is calling you to grab a book, open the doors to the patio and relax into your own little reading nook. This house offers three bedrooms upstairs located above the walkout basement living area with a full bath upstairs.

Catch bass from the deck! This cozy cabin sits on a 100 year old rock retaining wall and overlooks a 1 acre pond. Feels like you are in the mountains but only a 10 minute drive from Hickory. Functional bathroom w/ running hot water and climate controlled living space. Kitchenette with small refrigerator and microwave. The large front deck has lighting and a gas grill for cooking out. Plenty of wildlife around including deer, fox, & various birds.
