Completed in June 2021, our luxurious new build apartment complex features two ground floor and two first floor apartments. Each apartment has a king bedroom and double sofa bed in the lounge which can sleep two children under the age of 12. Each apartment has an open plan living/dining/kitchen area with a fully equipped kitchen and views towards our grounds and surrounding forests and hills. A unique opportunity to stay in an American RV which sleeps up to 6 people. There is also accommodation for a further 4 with a double bed in the summer house and a king size bed in the gym/movie room. Guests have exclusive use of the RV, summer house, gym/movie room, utility/shower room, hot tub, sauna, steam pod, plunge barrel, trampoline and the majority of the garden which includes outdoor dining, seating areas, bbq, fire pit & more. Birch Cottage is an ideal place for exploring the beautiful Western Highlands of Scotland. Situated in a spectacular elevated location overlooking Loch Linnhe with a mountain backdrop, the local area offers pebble beaches at Cuil Bay, access to the Fort William-Oban cycle track, stunning hikes, climbing and a range of outdoor activities. Ben Nevis is just a 20 mile drive from the house via Fort William. Oban Ferry terminal, a 30 mile drive south, offers year round access to the Hebrides.

Trotters Burn Isle of Skye

Trotters Burn may look like a traditional croft house however, it was recently built to the highest of modern standards with underfloor heating throughout making it the perfect base to relax and unwind after a day exploring Skye. This cosy cottage is situated on our family croft approximately a 200m from the main road. The location offers the perfect balance of being a short walk to the shops and pubs but also far enough from the road to escape the bustle.

The accommodation is open plan, bedroom, lounge, dining areas (There is a single step down to the bathroom) Inside it's a spacious 34m square of space. There is private access, parking, your own private garden, veranda and hideaway. We live in the cottage next door if you need anything.

A quiet and peaceful refuge at the edge of Inverness with beautiful views over the Beauly Firth to the Black Isle. Sustainable, low carbon, energy efficient and powered by solar panels with a Tesla battery. 12 acres of woodland walks within the property, and more beyond. Fabulous local bird life and mammals, with wild mushrooms in season - our chanterelles are delicious. Vegetables from the adjacent walled garden in season and free range chicken eggs.
