Our walk-out basement suite has everything you need, along with privacy and a lot of local, international, and fast food restaurants within a 5 minute drive. A beautiful neighborhood for a stroll, with several historic landmarks. Neighborhood is partially wooded, you may see wild turkeys, fox, and owls! 2 min from 700acre Iroquois Park, 10min from Churchill Downs, 17 minutes from downtown, and 7 minutes from the Louisville International airport.

The Getaway in Bourbon Country with Breakfast

Located in the heart of the Bourbon Trail. Come and enjoy the peace and quiet of country living, but still close enough to cities. When you first arrive, you will find the entrance on a large, covered patio. There is a gas grill there for your use. We also have a fire pit, so bring wood. Feel free to take a walk down to the river at the bottom of our property. There you will find a park like setting where you can relax and listen to nature if you like. Eggs, bacon and biscuits provided.

Highlands Carriage House

Secluded Retreat in the Heart of the Highlands! Perfect for DERBY! Our carriage house is perfectly located in the heart of all Louisville has to offer. We are only steps from the finest dining, entertainment, pubs, shopping, parks, and coffee in Louisville. Bustling and eccentric Bardstown Road is only half a block away, yet the Carriage House feels secluded and very private. It is located 5 miles from Churchill Downs, 7 miles from the airport, and 2 miles from downtown.

Listen to the birds sing as the walkway guides you to your quaint cottage getaway. Take in nature, as you’re surrounded by trees, near our sweet chicken coop and a creek that flows down from the deck - all while only 10min from town. Special touches were added of Kentucky Derby photos, books, kitchenware, Bourbon Trail glasses and bourbon barrel heads with local distilleries. The dining table top is even made of wood from Shelby County’s own Bulleit Distilling Company.

The footprint compacts everything one could need- living, kitchen, bed, bathroom, washer/dryer, games and more. Enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature while napping in the hammock. Cook dinner over an open flame in the firepit. Test your skills to beat the high score on PacMan arcade or the foosball table.

This suite is a beautiful private retreat complete with a projector for watching your favorite streaming service for the ultimate movie night. Centrally located and within 10-20 minutes of numerous local hospitals, universities, as well as various restaurants and downtown destinations, our guest suite offers a peaceful retreat in a convenient and safe location. We also provide a fold out desk that guests can use for a remote work space if desired.

My Old Kentucky Dome

An elevated camping “glamping” experience. This brand-new one of a kind geodesic dome is located on a private road that leads you to an overlook featuring one of the most beautiful countryside views in Kentucky. While this getaway experience is nestled deep in the woods, it is also a close drive to all the conveniences you can imagine. This is an off the grid outdoor experience with a ½ mile gravel road including a steep hill. AWD or 4WD advised.

We decorated and dedicated this place in honor of my father who served in WW2 as a Marine. He passed March of 2020. We have all type of military things along with other unique pieces. We plan on always coming up with more things to change it around. This is a part of a duplex which sits on the property with our wedding venue.
