A cyclists dream, with a 5 minute ride to the Castleman trailway, you'll be well on your way to ride the old railway track to Moors Valley, Upton country park and more. You are approx a 25 minute drive to Bournemouth beach, approx 30 minutes to Sandbanks beach, well worth a visit to see millionaires row. The new forest is 15 minutes away. Paultons park if you have little ones, is approx 40 minutes away and is a real favourite with the children. Woodpecker Cottage is a centrally located cottage.

This idyllic country cottage is surrounded by peaceful woodland and fields. Once an 18th-century barn, it has been lovingly restored and what a welcoming place it is. Inside, you'll find a traditional open fireplace, wooden beams and lots of exposed brick. Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Just a short walk into the centre of Wimborne or to the beautiful River Stour. This flat is situated on the first floor of the building. Access is via a communal stair case. Please note the bathroom does not have a bath (it's a shower). Early check in can sometimes be arranged. There is a shared garden area with your own dining and lounging area. We do have a lovely little dog who is very friendly and also the occasional visiting friendly family dogs, who may be around in the garden to say hello.
