Enjoy our new and elegant house in the mountainside above Akureyri. In this luxurious cottage we have everything you need for a great stay. A peaceful environment yet just a few minutes drive to town and the ski area. A spacious kitchen and living room area with stunning view. 3 bedrooms with total of 8 beds. 2 bathrooms with shower. And a laundry with washing machine and dryer. Hot tub is on the patio where you can experience the great view. This house is ideal for families and groups.

Our cottage was built in 2019 and was ready for furnishing in October 2019. The whole house, interior and houseware is generally of high quality. The living room has a cosy sofa and a 65” tv screen. All beds are high quality with down comforters for every guest. There are two bathrooms, where one of the bathrooms also serves as a laundry room, and an indoor hottub with view over Akureyri. the outside storage room you have space for your outdoor equipment. The inside of the house is bright, because of the big windows and light colors inside. The house is located a 20 minutes drive from both Akureyri and Dalvík - two larger cities. Hope you will enjoy our cottage house and its surroundings. Hjalteyri offers a restaurant, art gallery and a public hot tub by the ocean.

We are located 20km from Akureyri, so this cabin is the perfect location for those seeking peace and quiet, nature, northern lights or just a great base on the Arctic Coastway.
