The Cabin is located at Hamurana, in a 2 acre garden setting 350m from Lake Rotorua. Located 120 m from the owners house and is completely private. All around are Sugar Maples with ferns and native plants underneath which attract the fantails. Purpose built and architecturally designed in 2019 as a holiday retreat using passive home guidelines. The cabin is a 15 minute drive from Rotorua CBD, close to all tourist attractions while allowing you the peace and quiet of a luxury retreat.

ABSOLUTE LAKEFRONT! Lakefront Cottage is situated just 10 steps from Lake Rotorua with breath-taking views around the caldera, across to Mokoia Island and over to Mount Tarawera. The location is very quiet, but it is only a short walk (15-20 mins) or taxi ride to the bustle of the CBD. The property is a tastefully renovated 3-Bedroom (optional 4th Bedroom) cottage with a range of amenities to ensure your comfort and enjoyment. There is ample parking for at least four vehicles.

Thoughtfully equipped appliances - kettle, toaster & microwave for your convenience. However no full kitchen cooking facilities.

Experience all that Rotorua has to offer from this centrally located, self contained unit next to Central Mall, Countdown and The Warehouse. A five minute walk to a range of restaurants, bars and the city centre; and a ten minute walk to Eat Street and the lake front. The world renowned Redwoods and mountain biking are an easy ride away, while the gondolas, luge and the many beautiful tourist attractions and pristine lakes are just a short drive by car.

Peaceful cottage based in the rural outskirts of Rotorua (15 minutes drive from Rotorua CBD/nearest shops and service station). Accommodates up to 5 people (2 bedrooms + a sofa bed in the living room). Suitable for everyone who enjoys a quiet rural environment and fresh air. Guests are welcome to use our tennis court. Our newly built cabin is perfectly located for adventurers wanting to explore the redwood forest and lakes or is a peaceful space for those looking to relax and unwind. Enjoy a soak in the outdoor cedar bathtub while overlooking Rotorua. A 5 minute pedal will have you in the forest, connecting to the forest loop. Local cafes and pubs are only a couple minutes drive down the hill with the CBD a 10 minute drive.
