Alexander Guesthouse in the Historic Houston Heights

Bright, airy and private guesthouse nestled in Houston's historic Heights neighborhood. Minutes away from local eateries, unique shopping opportunities and everything Houston has to offer, this guesthouse is the perfect retreat. Relax in the garden, enjoy a night of s'mores around the fire-pit or just unwind on the couch while watching a movie. The guesthouse overlooks a spacious yard that is shared with the owners and their dogs. This guesthouse is bright and airy with vaulted 12 foot ceilings in the living room and kitchen. The kitchen features new stainless steel appliances, beautiful quartz counter-tops and all the basic necessities (including a blender, toaster, coffee maker, etc.). We always provide complimentary coffee to help get our guests day started off properly. The living room features comfortable and modern furniture, including a sofa bed and a 40" television with Xfinity X1 cable provided (with voice command). The bedroom has a queen-sized bed with crisp, lush bedding. You will also find a desk that's perfect for doing a little work (if you have to) on your laptop. The alarm clock has a Bluetooth setting if you want to listen to your own music while reading in bed. In the closet you'll find a full size washer and dryer, wooden hangers for your clothes and an iron and ironing board to keep your outfits looking neatly pressed. The bathroom features natural light which highlights the beautiful accent tile in the shower surround. There is a full-sized bathtub in case you want to take a soak. The entire guesthouse has its own WiFi along with hardwired internet connections. We take our commitment to our guests seriously and want to ensure you have everything you need to make your stay wonderful. Guests will have full access to the apartment. Guests can also enjoy accessing the backyard, featuring a seating area with a fire-pit and access to a propane powered BBQ grill. Check-in couldn't be easier. The apartment has a key pad for entry and guests will be provided with an access code prior to arrival. Some tips for using various appliances and features are located on laminated cards around the apartment (so you can sync your device to Bluetooth audio, log into WiFi, etc.) A simple house manual will be located on the kitchen counter along with some highlights about the area the guesthouse is located in. The guesthouse is located at the rear of a property in Houston Heights. Walk only a few blocks to reach the hike and bike trail. Shop on the famous 19th street nearby, and visit a wealth of local antique shops, art galleries, and restaurants. Our property is located right on a major bus line that makes for a 15 minute trip into downtown Houston where you can access theaters, restaurants and the city's light-rail line that can take you straight to Midtown (where you will find a variety of bars and restaurants) and the Museum District. Street parking is available for those with their own car and the city features ride-sharing services like Lyft and Uber. No smoking in the unit, no pets under any circumstances, no drugs or illegal activities.

Smart gray and white heritage-style interiors with tufted upholstery, period cornicing, and reclaimed wood floors ooze quality. Tall double-hung windows fill the space with light. Our home and detached garage apartment offer the design and charm of a historic New Orleans style home with the luxuries and amenities of a home built in 2013. We are setup to accommodate business and leisure travelers, whether it be for a few days or a few weeks. Great restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, groceries, and a gym are all within less than a mile in our walkable neighborhood...you'll come to understand why we feel like we live in a small town within our large and diverse city! Feel free to use our outdoor patio space and gas grill (please request permission in advance to ensure space will be available) We will leave you to enjoy your stay but are always available if you need some directions or recommendations. Tree-lined avenues and historic homes give the area a small town feel. Described as a destination for foodies, architecture buffs, and creative types, there is a glut of great restaurants nearby, and easy access to Downtown and the Energy Corridor. Located within 5 minutes of I-610, I-10, & I-45, you can get most places via car in urban Houston within 20 minutes. Use uber or park your vehicle in front of our home (off-street parking available). There is a great hike and bike trail 1 block from our home and the neighborhood is very walkable.

This space is perfectly nestled between Montrose, the Museum District, and Houston's world-class Medical Center. Kick back on a papasan swing in the outdoor lounge area at this two-story artist's space in the Westmoreland Historic District. Abundant house plants, chic wall art, and pink Eames dining chairs make for an eclectic retreat. Close to Midtown and Downtown too! Lovely outdoor lounge areas, chair swings, relaxing hammocks. Additional amenities include a stocked kitchen, Roku, snacks, bath robes, games, books, laundry soap, PureSteam clothing steamer and good vibes♥️ Please enjoy the many outdoor areas I have. You may also try your hand at adding to a mural on my art wall I live in the main house on the property. I am happy to answer questions or give suggestions. I’m available if you need me! This neighborhood frequently hosts walking tours to share the history of Houston’s first downtown adjacent suburb. It's very walkable area with many restaurants, cafes, coffee shops, and bakeries just a 5-minute walk in any direction. Rail access a few blocks away, rent a b-cycle (Houston city bikes) bust stop one block away, hop in an Uber... Two-story house

Centrally-Located Studio Apartment on Spacious Lot

We are just north of downtown Houston and 1/2 mile (4 min) away from White Oak Music Hall. Ride shares are never more than a few minutes away. There is free on-site parking with a private driveway secured with an automatic gate. The Metro light-rail is only 2 blocks away and provides direct access to U of H Downtown, Downtown, Midtown, Medical Center, NRG Stadium, and more. We offer comfortable outdoor furniture with fire pits & lighting. A griddle, grill, and pellet smoker are all available.

PH2 - Montrose Pool House with Pool & Soothing Spa

This Space is one of the two pool house suites that sits behind the main house (which can also be an additional Airbnb space or my residence), this is the upper unit. All three spaces share the luxurious back yard, spa and pool. Guest are limited to keep up with covid restrictions and to help ensure the chill vibe the space creates. No parties/events are hosted here and the only way to have the pool & spa privately, is to rent the entire compound. This is help ensure everyone can enjoy

Welcome to Under the Oak Montrose! This property is my home and I’d love to share my guest house and gorgeous backyard santuary with you. Ya'll! The Michelin Guide for Texas came out early 2025. Located within 1 mile radius of 3 Hou restaurants with a Michelin Star, and near so many others recommended. As if you needed another reason to book... Want to stay just one night? Message me! Our upstairs garage apartment is airy, sunny, and located in a quiet, safe, residential neighborhood. Close to downtown, the medical center, parks, and shopping. Great dining spots are within walking distance. Easy to get to major freeways with ample parking on street. We are a Monarch Butterfly habitat so you may see emerging butterflies during your visit. We are big music fans and this interest is reflected in our art. Maid service on a weekly basis includes linen change.
