Fish the day away from your own private shore or just lounge by river and listen to the river flow. This small cabin boasts a comfy Queen bed, stocked kitchen and full bath. There is plenty of parking for large vehicles, RVs, trailers, rafts, paddle boards, etc. Short 15 minute drive to Historic Salida, CO with easy access to highway. Great hiking close by. The River Sweet

My river property is located right on the edge of the Arkansas river in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. The property is comfortably accessed by the highway with ample parking for 4 automobiles. At the same time there is 1200’of private river access with a large comfortable access via boating and wading. Our property is really all about the river. In the spring, summer and fall the river can really be moving. This provides an ideal place to relax and enjoy the sounds, birds and pastoral scene.

Spacious home located on alpaca farm. Quiet and private, storage space for bikes, ski gear etc. Large open living with living room/dining room/reading area/kitchen and two bedrooms with spacious bathroom. Bathroom has shower only (sorry- large soaking tub is in other apartment, which is adjoining to family apartment). Perfect get-away, rent both sides to sleep 8-10. Fully stocked and supplied. Fresh farm eggs and coffee/tea/hot chocolate/cream included. Collect your own eggs, if you want!

At elevation 9,300, enjoy a wide, jaw-dropping view of the Sangre de Cristo mountains. Sunsets and stargazing are spectacular. The wind sings through the pines and wildlife abounds. No mosquitos, just hummingbirds! The fully outfitted cabin interior features honey pine logs and a classic Old West theme. Only 15-20 minutes to downtown Salida and 30 minutes to Monarch Mountain Ski Area. We have a fire pit and propane grill outside the entryway.
