Cozy log cabin with a large covered porch and deck overlooking Lake Huron. Situated for a perfect sunset every night. Surrounded by trees offering a private oasis. Spectacular outdoor amenities: covered porch with seating, deck with dining set, a gas grill and two firepits with chairs. A renovation was completed in the winter of 2023. The living space is an open concept kitchen, dining and living area. The cabin can comfortably accommodate twelve guests, with two private bedrooms and a loft.

You will be just a 3-minute walk to shopping, outdoor dining and the Port Austin Harbor. Accommodations consist of a two-bedroom cottage that sleeps six to eight (unit 2) and a one-bedroom cottage (unit 1) that sleeps four to six. Located 2 miles from the village of Port Austin, this Guest Cottage has a private deck, lake views and private beach access. My family has been spending the summer here since 1949; the garage/ guest house was added in 2000 and is outfitted w/ the original, hand made knotty pine furnishings. The kitchen is outfitted with pots & pans, silverware, dishes and glassware. There is also a washer/dryer located within the unit for your convenience. We welcome your 4-legged family members, as well!
