Vallakot Farm Miðbær

Vallakot Farm Guesthouse is a small guesthouse, located in Northeast Iceland in the middle of the Diamond circle. It is situated in a green and peaceful valley called Reykjadalur and the village Laugar is only a few kilometers away with a restaurant, grocery shop, a swimming pool and other amenities. Vallakot Farm is both a farm and a guesthouse and a place that has been in the family for decades. We have three studio apartments built in 2017 and a cabin that we finished renovate in June 2023.

Eurovision movie apartment located in the heart of Húsavík, the whale watching capital, is the best place to stay to experience local Icelandic vibes. This house was built in 1904 which makes it one of the oldest (and coolest :) houses in Húsavík. What is more, the Eurovision movie was shot there. 2 floors apartment with 3 bedrooms and huge spacious living room gonna make your stay unforgettable. Skrida, stunningly designed holiday home, perfectly placed in the picturesque valley of Svarfadardalur. The house has 3 bedrooms, a large, open-plan living room, dining room and kitchen, outdoor hot tub, offering breathtaking views of the valley. A newly installed, very fast internet connection allows facilities for remote working. It is 5 min. drive from the fishing village of Dalvik with a supermarket, swimming pool, health center, culture house, wine shop and easy access to main sights.

Beautiful private house by the Fjord with Hot Tub

Situated on the beautiful, peaceful island of Hrísey in the middle of Eyjaförður. The house sits on the water's edge with stunning views of the fjord and mountains where you can sometimes watch the whales and dolphins. PLEASE NOTICE: The island is located in the northern part of Iceland. It is a five-hour drive from Reykjavik. And you need to take a ferry to get there. No cars, pedestrians only. The ferry departs from the fishing port of Árskógssandur every two hours and only takes 15 mins.

The farm Hraunkot and horse rental Lava Horses are located between Husavik, Lake Myvatn and Akureyri, but yet in a peaceful environment with a lot of animals. Perfect for families where the kids can enjoy themself outside with a rabitt in their lap, say hello to the goats or perhaps give the lambs warm milk to drink. The apartment have a double bed and a sleeping couch so it is also suitable for friends.

Kaldbaks-kot: 1BR cottage cuddled into nature

Our one bedroom cottage cuddled into nature in Húsavík suburb with a breathtaking view serves as a tiny home, away from home where you have a lot of privacy and comfort in as close proximity to the spirit of nature as possible. The location is extraordinary as it has breathtaking view, abundant bird-life, spectacular nature and wildlife, country comfort and urban activities and service in town. Walking paths are along the lakes and to surrounding places. Minimum rental is 2 nights.

Sólsetur (Sunset) Syðri-Haga

Peaceful and lovely cottage on the land of farm Syðri-Hagi with lovely ocean views. Located on the west side of Eyjafjörður, with majestic mountain ranges and welcoming valleys. The cottage Sólsetur (Sunset) is 25 square meters, built 2016-2017. The cottage has one bedroom with two beds and a sleepingcouch for two in the livingroom. The kitchen is fully equiped. Facilities for four persons. On the terrace there is a geothermal hot tub and a gas grill.

Bakkakot 3 is hidden between the trees surrounded by nature. All you need for a relaxing retreat in the Icelandic countryside with TV, DVD, kitchen, shower room, WiFi, games. Near the cabin is a grill (summer months) and hot tub area. We are located 20km from Akureyri so this cabin is the perfect location for those seeking peace and quiet, nature, northern lights or just a great base on the Arctic Coastway.

Nice and homie little room in a timber cottage, perfect to unwind and experience the calm and quiet countryside, we are very central to most attractions in the area, and a great location to spot some northern lights during winter. Very little light pollution is in the area. You have everything you need with a small kitchenette and a mini fridge. Full private bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer

Cosy cottage in the countryside

Hvoll is a farm with horses, sheeps, dog and a cat. It is located in Þingeyjarsveit by road 854. It is a perfect location if you want to enjoy the countryside and visit some of the beautiful places in north Iceland, like: Lake Myvatn (30 km away), Húsavík (27 km away), Goðafoss waterfall (17 km away) and Dettifoss waterfall (68 km away). The house is one of three new modern houses at Sunnuhlíð. Opened in February 2015. The houses are especially designed for a couple or a small family traveling on their own in Iceland. Guests can enjoy the beautiful view of Eyjafjördur and Akureyri.
